Additional notes important when recruiting for this role:
The ideal candidate should have spent a minimum of 3 years in this role with extensive exposure on managing distributor relationships in a pharmaceutical setup, this is a common role in most of the pharma companies in the region. We are also ideally looking for someone from the region for the region. We need people who have experience dealing with the order to cash cycle of pharmaceuticals that have been shipped to distributors in MENA region or a subset thereof – a good screening point would be have they done the role in another Pharma company – need someone with experience. Please note – we are not looking for Accountants here even though some of the functions may relate to that of an Accountant – the ideal candidate has either been in or is in this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 5 years minimum experience in a commercial function with relevant skills set
· Finance or business degree essential
· Pricing experience (MENA)
· Process-oriented with the ability to create or evaluate and improve existing processes
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Experience within pharmaceutical / FMCG preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication in English, additionally Arabic / French preferred
Purpose:Oversee and perform activities for portfolio of products from customer creation to cash collection.
